Just a few photos to show you all what i'm gonna look like when i'm parading around Outlook in Croatia at the end of the summer. Thinspiration well and truly sorted.
So Lazy Oaf have finally released their Spring/Summer '13 Look Book and personally I think it's their best yet. Mostly monochrome with a hint of colour couldn't be more me. Really love the shorts/trousers/suspenders (what the hell are they?!?!) in the last image... they're so lush! I'm also a big fan of the styling on this shoot and think the accessories are to die for. I.NEED.MONEY.NOW.
Had a fantastic day in London exploring my surroundings and enjoying the colourful array of outfits that LFW brought to the table.... Here are a few of my personal faves x
I know what you're thinking, Couture isn't exactly my thing, but I'd like to point out the intricate, gorgeous design work....then i'm going to drop the bombshell that these items of clothing have been PRINTED using a 3D printer.
For my dissertation (my crap excuse for my lack of posts recently) I have been researching the exciting world of 3D printing and I stumbled upon Iris Van Herpen's escapism collection. Seriously, the future scares me.
Properly starting back at uni tomorrow and going to act as if the library is my 9-5 job. Bore off 3rd year. Just thought I'd share a quick post on what kind of outfit i'll be wearing to uni tomorrow. Although the shoes and beanie are not yet in my possession.
When I was doing my usual daily scroll
through the JWT blog in the hope I will source out a way of landing my dream
job there (aim for the stars and all that bullshit), I came across a recent
report they wrote on The Fear of Missing Out.
Social media has snatched our lives. We
document everything we do; mostly to show our friends and followers how good
our lives are and what cool new hipster mecca we’ve recently been ‘jamming’ at.
However, being able to see in absolute detail how our peers’ lives are taking
off and the opportunities and adventures they are taking is leading to be
increasingly more fearful as to whether or not we are actually missing out.
When I sit and think about it, I have the
most talented bunch of friends across all circles - Enough to make me insanely
jealous - And yes, they’re all doing the most wonderful things.
That leads me to my final thought; I wasn’t
going to go back to Ibiza as I thought it might be time to ‘grow up’. But
Christ, I’m 20… another season on the white isle is suddenly becoming a very
attractive idea. I’ve included a couple of snaps from my last two seasons so
that one of YOU get the fear of missing out and come with me!
